The first step to taking control of your life is to understand the programming that is causing you to give away your power to circumstances. We all receive programming throughout our lives. Every time we take any action or receive any consequence to any action, we are learning a lesson which stays with us like a program that has been downloaded onto our hard drives. These lessons reinforce themselves, and reinforce the lesson that we are dependent on our circumstances. The liberating and possibly terrifying fact is that you are not, in fact, dependent on your circumstances. Believe that you are dependent and you give power to your circumstances. Believe that you have the power and ability to change anything that needs to be changed, and you break your dependence on outer circumstances to make the changes you want to see.
